Here are two simple, fun cross stitch patterns to use with KS2 pupils, although they may be suitable for upper years of KS1 also. The pattern charts are on pdfs. They have coloured blocks. Each block is equal to one cross stitch. I have also included some basic cross stitch information/instructions and a photograph of the finished picture. The patterns are stitched on 6 count binca material and obviously can be completed in any colour combinations. The wing shapes are completed in simple back stitch.
